Current Needs

SALT currently works to help improve quality of life for others at a community, local and state level. We are not dedicated to private or financial gain but to the advancement of public as a whole

While our partners a very generous with the food we rescue and additional items one item we do not receive or get often is water.  We  have a lot of volunteers that utilize their own vehicles to rescue food and other items from retailers pay for gas and toll out of pocket.  Gas cards would be helpful as well to provide frequent volunteers with some help for using their vehicle. list of items that we have a great need for are

• Water (bottles or gallons)
• Gas cards to assist volunteers (as our pick ups are across many areas in New Jersey)
• Monetary donations for tolls (garden state parkway and NJturnpike is used frequently)
• Dental hygiene items.
• Paper towels
• Laundry detergent
• Also one big item anyone who would be willing to donate an SUV or VAN this would also be awesome.  The donation would be a tax write off and be a huge help to continue the work we are doing.

We service solely on donations and in kind help to continue this work.
