SALT Foundation rescues food, we have 3 corporate partnership that supply us with fresh, organic produce, healthy snacks, healthy grab and go pre-made foods, fresh baked goods and freshly made bakery sweets. We believe in supplying our community with some of the best fresh premium food from our corporate partners, and they are, Trader Joes, Wegman's and Walmart. These market are considered wellness supermarket chains, and wellness aligns with our mission. Therefore, we source fresh food from corporate suppliers with standards, what does that mean? These markets believe in ordering fresh produce and healthy food elements. Cutting down on inflammation, synthetic chemicals/colors and other harmful ingredients that cause bad reactions in the brain and body when eating poorly sourced foods.​

Knowing that most of our underserved, disadvantaged community members do not have the time, the transportation, the ability or finances to consistently feed their families from these markets. Not to mention, most of these markets are not in their local area, and that's where the SALT Foundation steps in. We make it possible to bring these markets and all there premium food to the front door of our community members. So lets be clear, we are not a food pantry, we are not a food bank. We rescue food from our corporate partnerships, return to our head quarters. Then we put love into each bag, as we divide up all the food equally, and the presentation is amazing! Now we are ready for impact, as we give 1000's of pounds of food with fresh flowers to our community!
